We offer you the chance to contribute to the overall Grundfos strategy with impact across the organization. In a brand new position, you get to support the co-development of product and production architectures and platforms, by bridging business, product, and production developers. Here, you not only help reduce product and production complexity to obtain holistic, sustainable solutions - you also influence the way we work, putting your fingerprint on this new focus area. You become part of a newly established function under Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. Joining a small team of concept and modulization engineers, your network expands across the organization as you collaborate to provide analyses to contribute to the business. As the team is new, you will play an important role in building the team and our processes. You refer to Department Head, Ulrich Brorson. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? Supporting the co-development of product and production architectures and platforms, you will be a key project member of strategic projects in Grundfos. The purpose is to reduce complexity and to support the new strategic direction for the area. Thus, you will be responsible for creating overviews, analysing, and presenting strategic and critical data and information to decision makers regarding the entire product and production portfolio. You do so by collecting and analyzing market, product, and production data and information from various sources. Through visualising and presenting these large amounts of data, you identify patterns and deviations of patterns in the data and relate the findings to implementable potentials in our business offerings, product designs, and production setups. Moreover, you facilitate product and production developers in creating new concepts, establishing an overview and coherence of our current solutions. “It takes persistence to gather all this data,and it will expose you to a broad network in the organization. It is a fine balance between being outgoing to get your input and communicating it to digging through the details to create the best possible analysis. But if you master this, your impact on our future business will be significant,” Ulrich says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You hold a master’s degree in engineering and have a background within product or production technology. Maybe you already have some experience or you have recently graduated. Furthermore, you have advanced Excel and illustration skills (e.g. Visio), and you speak and write English fluently. Preferably, you also speak Danish. “On a personal level, you are open-minded, allowing you to network to collect your data and to present it to the organization. At the same time, though, you are not intimidated by high complexity and divergence because you have a structured and analytical mind-set that allows you to immerse yourself in the data and details. And finally, you use your business acumen holistically to see how your analyses best contribute to the overall business,” Ulrich finishes.
