What you will do
At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, we are now looking for a talented and committed .Net/C# Developer, who is passionate about all phases of software development – from initial ideas all the way to coding, maintenance and support. You will join our ITC team (Industrial Technical Computing), which currently consists of three Software Engineers, who are responsible for the development of technical calculation programs used in the dimensioning of industrial refrigeration facilities. These programs are distributed globally and are utilized for e.g. sales, contracting and development.
Our ITC team is part of the overall R&D branch, and we work closely with engineers in the other teams. How you will do it
- Development of our technical calculations- and pricing programs.
- Responsible for back-end programming in our salestool.
- Maintenance and distribution of existing programs.
- Technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in concept development with other teams in R&D.

What we are looking for
We expect that you hold a relevant degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Global Business Engineering (Software). We prefer that you have at least three years’ experience, but we are also open towards new graduates. Most important, is that you know your way around .NET, and C#. If you also know about industrial refrigeration and/or thermodynamics, then it is a plus.
In our daily work, we use the following technologies: .Net/C# (Visual Studio 2017), WPF, SQL Server, Wix Toolset, Kibana/Elasticsearch, Git, and Octopus Deploy/Teamcity.
As a person, you are proactive, curious and with a positive mindset. You need to have a drive to learn our business, our products and the organization. You are able to work independently and structured, and you are strong communicator in English.
