Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Network Engineer to take part in securing the global Danfoss IT network infrastructure. In this role you will maintain daily operations based on ITIL framework, monitor proactively and design technical solutions within your technical area of expertise. Furthermore, you will work with patch management and life-cycle management, participate in projects (regional and global) together with ensuring a standardized and secure Danfoss IT network. You will get the possibility to work with global network solutions and be a part of a journey towards the next level of IT Infrastructure automation.
 
You will join a highly skilled global Network team comprised of colleagues in 5 countries spanning 3 continents, and you will report to the Senior Manager Network EMEA.
 
Background and skills
To be considered successful in this position, we are looking for a network professional with extensive experience from data centers, production units and branches. Our focus for the coming months and years will be to elevate IT Infrastructure to the next level with implementation of Infrastructure as Code; in this you will play a vital role.
 
With your experience from previous roles as Network Engineer you are motivated by working technical solutions and have a pragmatic approach to challenging issues. From a technology perspective, prior experience with HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto and Riverbed is a plus. 
 
As a person, you are confident, independent and self-motivating. Besides your 5+ years of relevant network experience and your IT-technical background, you have global knowledge and communicate effortless in verbal and written English. As we serve stakeholders from all levels of the business you work with integrity and initiates, follows and closes your tasks with a sense of urgency.
