We are winning more and more projects in Denmark and internationally and are therefore looking for talented, motivated and skilled engineers to join our project teams. Do you want to work in a department where we work with all aspects of the digital railway from detailed design, and technical specifications to systems engineering, validation, testing and operation?  Then we hope to hear from you.

Delivering world class engineering services
As an engineer you will be part of our Signalling department working on projects determined by our clients. Many of our clients are looking to modernise their signalling systems, bringing them into the digital age with state of the art data communications networks (fixed and mobile), and providing rich information to traffic management systems and staff, and ultimately to the travelling passengers. Our teams typically comprise 5-10 international members working on projects with a duration from a few months to a year. This also involves collaborating with other Ramboll departments in the Nordics, Europe and internationally. We believe in learning on the job, so you will be having hands-on working on specific projects from the start. Therefore, from the onset of your career you will have responsibility for project deliverables; from definition of tasks, performing analyses, design, preparing reports and presenting the results to our clients. Your main focus will be on following engineering disciplines:

• Engineering and design of conventional, electronic interlocking and train control systems
• Development of technical documentation and quality assurance
• Providing technical expertise for our clients and digital railway projects

For the first 1-2 years of your career, the priority will be to gain knowledge within all the different disciplines involved in digital railway. This is obtained by a combination of training/workshops, hands-on work, self-study and courses. We have a high focus on training our engineers, and it is important that you acquire the right competences to solve your tasks.  

Talented engineer with focus on clients, projects and your own development
We imagine you have an engineering degree or similar within electronics, systems engineering, or IT and it is a plus if you have some knowledge of digital railway domain. We work in a dynamic and challenging environment where every project demands new tailor-made solutions. It is therefore important that you show a great deal of commitment and that you are able to apply your technical knowledge to real life tasks. You take responsibility for actions in your project and it is natural for you to set high standards for quality. It is not a requirement but a plus if you master the Danish language.
