We are looking for a candidate who can advise, support and create content for our reporting stakeholders globally in Novo Nordisk. Therefore it is essential that you are passionate about business intelligence, data visualisation and strive for excellence through collaboration with stakeholders. About the department The position as novoGloW Business Data Analyst is based in novoGloW Operations which focuses on improvements and support to the core quality processes supported by the novoGloW system. novoGloW is a workflow-based IT system for handling core quality processes globally in Novo Nordisk. The change control, nonconformities, CAPA system, audits and inspection processes are all supported. The novoGloW Operations department consists of a dynamic mix of process- and technical competencies. The job It is a one year temporary position and in your role as a novoGloW Business Data Analyst, you will work especially with reporting and analytics from the novoGloW system. There is a high demand for quality reports and data visualization of novoGloW data in line of business, which you will help support. You will mainly work within the following areas: Participate in a reporting project; implementing a standardized BI tool (QlikView); Support and advice the reporting responsible persons globally in Novo Nordisk; Maintain data in novoGloW; Develop training material related to reporting. You understand the users’ needs for visualization and reporting across Novo Nordisk and are able to translate this into actual graphs and dashboards in the BI tool. To do this, you will need an understanding of the quality processes, being reported on. You will also take active role in maintaining and improving the training setup and in the training of super users. Moreover you will participate in developing a Quality reporting network in Novo Nordisk. Qualifications You have a relevant university degree and can document some years of relevant experience. It would be an advantage if the experience includes work with BI or reporting solutions, preferably within quality management processes e.g. in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industry. You have technical flair and can translate user needs into actionable and tangible products such as graphs, reports or dashboards. Therefore advance Excel skills are preferred. Experience with design and developing in QlikView, or similar BI self-service tools, is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. You will be developing and designing in QlikView with a team, but will also spend time independently, building reports based on stakeholder input. Meetings and presentations in English will be part of your daily work, so good communication skills and fluent English are required. The candidate can work independently but also be part of a team and is able to handle several tasks at the same time. You have a strong personal drive, you are service oriented and proactive in your approach. You thrive in a busy environment and bring a positive can-do attitude to your work – even when the pressure is on. You must have high level of analytical skills and ability to quickly obtain an overview of a given subject.
