Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…manage the execution of NPI projects and, given the project situation, you may manage project managers within the assigned projects. You will work within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to the established processes and methodologies. You will be responsible for process development, tool validation, engineering trials, work instructions and support other engineers.   

You will also:  

• Interact with customers, suppliers and internal resources 
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of project and program management principals 
• Use project manager tools to manage large and complex projects or programs 
• Mentor other project managers 
• Define and manage scope, time and resources of large-scale, complex projects or programs 
• Facilitate identification of project or program risks, develop and assign responsibility for mitigation actions and manage the mitigation plan. 
• Refine project management methodologies for quality and project, define trials plan or program risk management 
• Synthesise critical information and communicating business implications to stakeholders 

 As this is a hands-on position, you will spend part of your time on the shop floor or at the NPI start-up office in Nakskov.    

Skills & experience: Our new colleague… 

…holds an appropriate engineering degree, preferably at master’s level, e.g. mechanical-, material- or production-based. You have at least 4 years of experience with production/process engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably within Blades. As a person, you are a team player and understand how to work in line and matrix organisations. You can take the lead and motivate your colleagues to achieve the best possible results.   

We expect that you:  

• Have six sigma principle experience (no certificate required) 
• Can use Microsoft Office, especially Excel and MS Project 
• Can design, run and evaluate trials and prepare the appropriate technical reports 
• Can work both individually and in groups  
• Have strong communication skills with fluent English (written and oral) 
• Understand safety and quality processes and reporting  
• Are result- and project-oriented
