The role is a maternity cover lasting from March 2019 until February 2020.

You will join the Operational Purchasing team - we are currently 7 persons in the team.

Operational Purchasing is part of our Construction Support department. The department provides support and resources to the MHI Vestas Offshore Wind projects and service departments during project pre-assembly, installation, commissioning and service phases. In Operational Purchasing, the working culture is very open and informative. Each team member has an area of expertise. We value and share our knowledge across functions and teams.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...be allocated to different projects. You will be involved in 2 projects at a time and you will work closely together with the responsible project teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• PO Management such as creating purchase orders, monitor and resolve errors as required
• Responsible for timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet order requirements
• As an assigned project team member to establish, present and maintain project procurement plans
• Ensure that sourcing and purchasing processes are aligned with the Sourcing Strategy, policies, processes and standards (best practice)
• Escalate delivery and invoice issues as required

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...has experience working in an international environment with customer and operational focus. You have at least 2 years of relevant experience working in procurement, sourcing or purchasing in a relevant industry. We expect good financial understanding as well as good IT knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics AX). Your work style is structured and systematic combined with a good understanding of business processes and the value chain. You must also have good communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross functionally.
