For our Supply Management department at the Brande factory, we are looking for an energetic Operational Purchasing Manager. In this role you will get the complete responsibility for all operational procurement related processes for the Brande factory and also for our two sister factories in Oelgod and Lindoe. The department is very diverse when it comes to logistic and cultural background and we are looking for a competent leader who has a very good procurement and logistic understanding and who is able to lead, develop and motivate a department of 38 people, of which 4 team leaders will be direct reports. We need a candidate who is able to live our principles of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost combined with a very good total cost of ownership (TCO) mindset, be able to understand the need of the customer (Operations/production/ Market unit) and key stakeholders (SCM, Commodity Management and Technology) and finally, be able to communicate both operationally and strategically Please note that the position is a maternity cover and will end on the 30th of May 2017 What are my responsibilities? SAFETY: · Embrace the Zero Harm culture through our policies, observations and proactive initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment · Responsible for Supply Management EHS action plan to record and take proper actions that can improve work environment · Ensure adherence at any time to internal, global and local EHS-standards · Enforce STOP WORK cases where unsafe work is observed or out of procedure DELIVERY · Ensure material availability according to SAP demand · Communicate demand overview on component level based on SAP · Escalate capacity and quality-related supplier issues · Ensure ordering based on supplier split · Ensure processing of Non-Conformance Cases within Supply Management responsibility · Ensure on time and in good quality delivery of tasks, services and input to management, main interfaces and stakeholders listed in our functional charter QUALITY: · Support Quality defined policies and guidelines that ensure proper implementation of function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools · Ensure master data set-up according to logistics strategy · Ensure procurement roll-out and material availability for NPI platforms · Provide input for load plan and gateway meetings · Active contribution in ECM process (Incl. Implementation Board) COST: · Align stock level with storage capacity · Continuously work on reducing our stock level to improve cash flow and space utilization including implementation of advanced sourcing modules · Ensure processing of Non-Conformance Cases within Supply Management responsibility · Secure ongoing development of supplier relationship management in cooperation with the strategic functions · Responsible for dept. CC (OPEX) in accordance to yearly budget and monthly forecast update PERSONNEL: · Directly or indirectly managing of all employees within the Supply Manage department securing employee development and satisfaction · To lead the organization in a very dynamic environment · Host team/department meeting that create a forum for general information, team actions, high/low lights, EHS etc. · Coach and lead in situations where needed to overcome obstacles outside the employee’s span of authority; act as the escalation point · Set up strategic framework and integrate the overall direction into the team for a transparent cascade of performance measures from top management · Carry out a thorough Performance Management Process evaluation, follow-up and final assessment for each direct report · Be a reliable and fair person to all colleagues and external partners through empathy, drive and business orientation What do I need to qualify for this job? · We expect you to have a logistic b
