We are looking for a talented and sales minded Operation Manager to join the Operation Support team in Esbjerg. The Operation Manager will have responsibility for the operation under the joint venture cooperation between Bilfinger and Semco Maritime. The Operation Support division Operation Support division is dedicated to supporting operations with well-qualified, experienced staff who can take care of everything from the maintenance and repair of your platform's structure and control systems to the provision of medical care for your people. Responsibilities and tasks: Reporting directly to Bilfinger’s Operations Director (and a key part of the local Semco Maritime management team) you will have the responsibility for the further build up and develop a strong service department covering all kinds of service deliverables to our customers in the offshore business. Today we do services within areas such as: Surface treatments onshore and offshore related to Oil & Gas production Rope access operations under the IRATA association. All kinds of special cleaning jobs (pipes etc.) based on specific environmental specifications and regulation Special services required by our customers Business development and new service solutions to make daily operations even more beneficial for our customers Professional qualifications: You have a relevant technical education and background which of course can be documented. The ideal candidate has a background from the offshore industry with a deep understanding and business insight. Furthermore you must have: Documented manager experiences leading both hourly paid employees and salaried specialists Fluent language skills in Danish and English – both oral and written High cultural competences and empathic approach to different people and company cultures Holds the FROSIO certification Level 3 Documented experiences within the tender and negotiating business Planning and coordination experience Experienced IT user Your profile: As a person you are; Driven by results and always proactive Responsible and loyal A good team player with the ability to work independently An inspiration to your colleagues We offer: A challenging and exciting job where results are created together and where you have the opportunity for personal and professional development.
