Join Grundfos Global Patents – in the heart of our innovation
In our HQ in Bjerringbro, you join our Global Patent unit within Technology Development. Alongside your 4 colleagues in-house and 2 in China, you play an important part in securing our future development as we work together to solve the world’s water and climate challenges through innovation.
Being on top of current IP practice and patenting activities, we provide business-critical knowledge to and collaborate closely with development engineers, project leaders, program managers, colleagues in Legal and the strategy department, and many more.
Protect and ripen our water solutions
Engaging with a wide range of different technologies, you will gain insights into our future water handling and water treatment products and systems, and be part of the development processes from initial idea to sign off with business partners and beyond. Thus, you will be supporting the business with the knowhow and expertise on all aspects relating to patents and designs as you:
- Protect Grundfos innovation through invention harvesting and patentability assessments with our development engineers
- Prosecute patent and design applications via external patent agents
- Ensure our freedom to operate by conducting FTOs and working with the development teams to look into alternative technical solutions, handling opposition and infringement cases
- Provide the business with strategic insight on patent activities of competitors’ or in new technological areas

- Hold an MSc within mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, physics or a related discipline
- Bring sound experience with patent work from either a private practice or industry
- Aspire to become a certified European Patent Attorney – or have the degree already
- Speak and write English fluently
