The Danish company GreenPeas is looking for about 100 motivated and flexible people to become a part of The Danish International Pea Picking Team - mainly operating in Portugal and Denmark in the period from March - september 2016.

• You will be trained to pick peas on a highly professional level - mainly taken place in following periods: Portugal: Marsh - June / Denmark: June - September 
• You will be working and living in an international community with great opportunities for development of our personal skills for working and socializing having influence on your own situation.
• You don´t need to work the whole period - but during your stay in Portugal you might be offered the priority to continue the work in Denmark.
• You will be challenged to develop other kind of skills you might possess. Some of the pea pickies are working partly with truck-, bus-, or tractor driving, administration work, packing operation, different kind of crafts - and some are working as supervisor and manager of different functions in the company.
• You will be working in a company that meets high values of human respect, democratic participation, responsibility and consideration in mutual confidence.

Requirements:

• Pea picking is piece work and youhave to possess ability to motivate yourselves.
• Having mentality for working in all kind of weather
• Previous experience in agriculture work - advantage
• Tolerant and respectful of all your colleagues in the team.
• Honest, reliable and responsible in all yuour actions.
• Making an effort to develop your own skills.
• Attitude to contribute in a positive way to the team.

Foreign language: English on a medium level.

Working program:

6 days per week, with an average of about 30-40 working hours. Starting early in the morning until about noon.

Payment:

The work is piece work and you must be able to motivate yourselves for piece work. In Portugal the salary is 0,35 Euro per kg. In Denmark the salary is 0,60 Euro per kg.

The payment is without tax and social security.

Other conditions:

In Portugal the accommodation will be indoor in apartments with kitchen, toilet and shower.

In Denmark the accommmodation will be outdoor in tents or indoor in caravans with bed rooms. Kitchen, dining room, toilets, showers, washing machines, TV and internet will be available.

The cost you have to pay for accommodation/consumption in Portugal is about 2-4 euro per day and in Denmark about 5-8 euro per day.

Transportation is paid by the workers.
