Drive our cement plants operations to a world-class standard Do you have operations management experience at plant and corporate level from an industry leader in the cement industry? Do you have solid understanding of all aspects of production, maintenance, and quality management from quarry to cement dispatch? Can you implement a performance management and continuous improvement framework in a multi-national context? If so, then you can become our Performance Manager of Cement Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contracts in FLSmidth. The Performance Manager will be part of the Business Performance department in FLSmidth's O&M business unit. The Performance Manager will be responsible to implement a world-class performance management and continuous improvement framework. This includes monitoring our day-to-day operations; tracking technical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all aspects of the operation: validate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), develop and implement action plans to improve operational results in close coordination with our plant management teams; benchmark our operations internally and versus leaders in the industry. The Performance Manager is expected to have sound experience in key aspects of operations management such as: budgeting and follow-up of operating costs, inventory management, field and desk audits execution, project planning and supervision (annual shutdowns), capital investment planning including cost-benefit analyses, capacity de-bottlenecking, industrial safety, etc. He or she should be a certified asset management practitioner as per an international standard (e.g. ISO 55000, Reliability Centred Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, etc.). The Performance Manager will play a key role in our ongoing efforts to systematize best practices. As such he or she who accepts the challenge should be comfortable to engage with heterogeneous stakeholders and become a change agent towards the continuous improvement of our organisation. This position entails 90-120 travel days per year. Analytical talent with operational experience 1. You most likely hold a master's degree in management engineering or similar 2. Have at least 10 years of relevant experience and international exposure in cement operations management from an industry leader at plant and corporate level 3. Be proficient with Excel, Project and the rest of Office suite 4. Have excellent communication skills 5.
