Position: AntibioTx is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Scientist to join our team working on the development of novel fixed-dose combinations to treat drug-resistant bacterial infections. Your role will be to assess formulability of a continuous flow of potential drug candidates based and support the selection, patenting and development of leads for pre-clinical and clinical trials. Qualifications: A qualified candidate holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine from a leading research group. The candidate should have a solid foundation within: - Pharmaceutical preformulation and formulation - Broad exposure to different methods of delivery such as topical, intravenous and inhalation - Human biology, pharmacokinetics, toxicology etc. - Information search (scientific studies, patents, regulatory documents etc.) A preferred applicant has at least three years of industry experience working with pharmaceutical development and experience with antibiotics. The candidate should be: - Passionate about developing life saving medicine - Well organized - Self motivated - Socially skilled - Hard working - Encouraged by challenges What we offer: AntibioTx comprises of a small and ambitious team supported by a group world leading advisors. AntibioTx is currently working on three early stage drug development programs for the treatment of pulmonary infections, skin infections and severe hospital acquired infections including those caused by Carbapenem resistant enterobacteria. AntibioTx was launched in 2011 and is funded by Novo A/S, The Advanced Technology Foundation, and private investments.
