Our Oral Protein Formulation Unit (OPF) in Måløv is expanding and therefore we are looking for dedicated, professionals and enthusiastic new colleagues. Our ambition is to develop break-through products based on orally available versions of insulin and Glucagon Like Peptide 1 (GLP-1). About the department We are expanding the department which is organised in 6 teams. We are responsible for development and manufacturing of oral protein products for late clinical trials in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. The department also covers qualification of new equipment, process optimization and preparation of filing documentation. The position As a Pilot Scientist you have the opportunity to play a key role in one of these areas ensuring both equipment, maintenance and production always lives up to the required GMP standards. Production: As a Pilot scientist you will have the Production responsibility for parts of the late phase Clinical production, review and preparation of related documents, deviation handling, change requests and ensure training of your colleges in the production process. Maintenance: As Pilot Scientist you will have the Maintenance/Equipment responsibility for Process equipment meaning that you ensure that the equipment fulfils the requirements for a GMP facility, review and preparation of related documents, deviation handling and change requests. IPC equipment: As Pilot Scientist you will have the Qualification/Equipment responsibility for IPC equipment (laboratory equipment) meaning that you ensure that the equipment fulfils the requirements for a GMP facility, review and preparation of related documents, deviation handling and change requests. Across your tasks you will have a close collaboration with different team members and other departments in OPF, ensuring that our project time lines and deliverables are met. The job will give you a solid knowledge of what it takes to start up a new Pilot Production facility while you will be involved in a break through development in the diabetic treatment area. Qualifications You have a Master’s degree or similar and perhaps experience with the pharmaceutical industry. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, where teamwork is at the top of the agenda.
