Would you like to help plan and optimise DONG Energy's offshore wind portfolio? Join us and become Pipeline Analyst in our business function Pipeline Management & Strategy which is part of Wind Power Market & Project Development. Pipeline Management & Strategy is a small team consisting of three professionals dedicated to ensuring that Market & Project Development delivers the most valuable and robust pipeline possible with the projects we have. Furthermore, two of our key objectives are to provide top management with the optimal foundation for decision-making and to ensure the best possible basis for meeting the long term strategic targets. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based in our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling to our locations both in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Together with your colleagues, you will be working with the continuous planning, optimisation and analysis of the development project pipeline to ensure the highest possible portfolio value. You will have a challenging and comprehensive job with varying tasks. Pipeline planning consists of consolidated analysis of project-specific, technical, logistical, financial and regulatory input, affecting the opportunities and risks in the offshore wind portfolio. In this job, you will be working with the financial aspects of our analysis and scenario work. Your key duties will be to: •maintain a consolidated overview of financial leavers affecting pipeline planning •assess the financial effects and feasibility of pipeline scenarios •assist the assessment of early-stage development opportunities •develop and operate financial tools and models related to pipeline management •support strategy functions, M&A and other stakeholders requiring a pipeline perspective. Your profile You hold an academic degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration. Experience from the offshore wind industry is an advantage. You are a superuser of the Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint. It is essential that you have experience from working with Excel-based models, large data sets, financial analysis, financial valuation models and development of large budgets. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way to your colleagues and business partners. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. As a person, you are analytical and detail-oriented. As such, you have a strong ability to examine information, interpret data and extract key information needed for pipeline planning. Adding to that, you know how to manage and prioritise your tasks and are able to deal with some pressure in peak periods.
