Our Circulator product lines, used in private households, are supplied through a global supply chain with main production facilities in Denmark, France and Serbia. Does navigating in complex settings motivate you? Grundfos is implementing global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across our 60 sales companies and 15 manufacturing sites. The Plan Manager is leading the supply chain planning process on behalf of a global Supply Chain Council. The position reports to the Supply Chain Director for Circulators, who chairs the supply chain council. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As Plan Manager, you will lead the pre-S&OP team involving local planning managers from our factories around the world and facilitate the supply chain S&OP meeting involving relevant plant managers. Your main tasks will be: • Coordinating the global supply chain planning process for circulator pumps • Proposing supply chain plans and supply scenarios, what will it take to meet the demand? • Outlining alternatives and related cost in cooperation with local planning managers • Nominating issues to be solved by local entities, and gather the input. Aggregating these into supply chain scenarios • Making decisions based on local input • By fact based approach ensuring that individual supply chain entities work in a chain perspective in order to fulfil the agreed service levels to the market in the most cost effective manner. • Performance Review: on behalf of the Circulator Supply Chain Council ensuring that actions are taken locally, to improve non satisfactory performance in the supplychains • Being ambassador of the agreed supply plan • Engaging in selected tactical tasks to enable the execution of the supply chain plan and exception handling in escalation process. • Supply Chain redesign/Continuous Improvement As the position is still new of its kind in Grundfos, you will play a key role in shaping and developing the job in a successful direction together with two other plan managers. The ideal candidate has completed a higher professional or university education on B.Sc or M.Sc. level within supply chain management or similar background. You have 3-5 years of experience as Logistic Manager or SCM consultant, and you have worked with demand planning / supply chain planning, preferably from one or more international companies. You as a person • have an objective mindset focusing on facts • know when to prioritise different perspectives • are an outgoing personality • are able to work in complex settings and with different stakeholders • are able to make difficult decisions in a global perspective. • can lead a virtual team of local planning managers
