This is an opportunity to work on a pioneering crowdsourcing platform – and affect all employees in a global company. We are in a build-up phase, where you have the possibility to influence our development and collaborate across the entire organisation. Meet user needs on a ground-breaking platform As Platform Developer, your role is to enable the full potential of the LEGO® Inside Ideas platform, which is an idea management system built on crowdsourcing, where 15.000+ LEGO® Employees can offer ideas for improvements. As such, your primary goal is to increase the number of daily active users by understanding user needs and translating them into tangible development plans. This is a pioneering project, which requires the team to operate like a small start-up, adapting as the platform evolves. More specifically, you: - Do platform development and maintenance, just as you continuously capture and input design solutions to develop the platform’s overall user experience - Look into our achievement framework, do platform data analysis and KPI tracking - Take on communication strategy and assignments, to support community and platform growth initiatives - Cooperate with Corporate IT, other internal platform stakeholders and our external vendors - Will be the only person with a technical background in the core team (of 3) handling the platform, but you will find technical sparring close by in our sister team Support continuous improvements In this role, you join a team that plays a pivotal role in the building of a continuous improvement culture throughout the entire R&D area. Thereby, you help improve the quality and productivity in our business processes by facilitating a great tool. In doing so, you get to apply your ability to think both creatively and logically, as you work across a global, supportive and collaborative network. Platform development experience You will be challenged on your ability to create a sustainable process that can drive and handle the growth in incoming ideas. We need to offer excellent user experience to build respect across the LEGO Group and become a trusted platform for open innovation and improvements.
