Can you lead and facilitate our Moulding Platform Network in Corporate Quality & EHS at LEGO?

This is a unique opportunity to combine your experience working with Project Management and Quality in a global and multisite manufacturing role.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the Moulding Platform Network (formed by the Moulding Quality Managers from the manufacturing sites in Billund, Monterrey, Jiaxing and Nyiregyhaza) in order to ensure global alignment, define standard processes and provide relevant information and escalation to Global Quality Wheel for decision making.

• Act as one point of entry to secure bi-directional communication, escalation and implementation of initiatives between Platform Network and other relevant stakeholders (QEHS, Production, Engineering, Elements & Moulds, etc.)

• Analyze quality performance data and select the most relevant lessons learned to share with relevant functions within the LEGO Group in order to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

• Lead Visual Quality Guide updates, secure global alignment and adherence.

• Act as process owner, securing and leading improvements and review of QiO standards and processes.

• Secure an evaluation method to assess the adherence to the standards at each site.

• Analyze data and use statistical tools to find ways to use resources in the most efficient way.

• Lead improvement projects and activities within Platform areas, but also related to QiO Processes.

Quality in Operation (QiO) is a key area within Corporate Quality and EHS organization. Our mission is to ensure premium quality LEGO® products by defining quality assurance processes, standards and guidelines for the manufacturing sites, suppliers and distribution channels.

Our key areas and responsibilities:

1. Platform Leaders - Global alignment across the LEGO manufacturing sites through standard processes and evaluation of its compliance.

2. Handling of Product Incidents & Quality in Distribution – Ensuring compliance with LEGO® requirements within LEGO product distribution channels, manage Critical Quality Incidents and Stoplist processes globally to ensure fast and effective non-conforming product containment and problem resolution.

3. Supplier Quality Management & Graphic Print Quality – owning Supplier Quality Handbook, work with suppliers of core components and raw materials ensuring compliance with LEGO® requirements and support supplier development.

4. Global Quality Wheel - Lead and facilitate global Quality Wheel ensuring global alignment across relevant functions to set clear quality direction for manufacturing.

5. Global Quality Projects – Lead global quality improvement initiatives.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• An Engineering degree or similar technical background

• Project management education or experience

• Experience with lean, six sigma and statistic tools

• A minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance activities or project management, preferably in a global environment, dealing with different cultures and timezones.

• Demonstrated experience leading and executing global projects (projects with multi-site members and global impact)

• The ability to read/understand technical drawings and product specifications.

• Experience with stakeholder and change management

If you have Six Sigma Black Belt certification as well as previous experience with Moulding processes, it is an advantage.

Furthermore, we expect that you have:

• High communication and presentation skills

• The ability to interact globally

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and you are a strong decision-maker

• Advanced level of English (able to maintain business conversations)
