Vattenfall is now looking for a Platform Technician (m/f) for our Offshore Accomodation Platform (OAP) of our DanTysk Offshore Wind Farm. The position is located in offshore in the German Exclusive Economic Zone. Your job as Platform Technician •Safe technical operations of all OAP systems, including but not limited to, electrical and automation systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, structural components including corrosion protection •Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and constructions regarding abovementioned OAP systems approving all working permits regarding technical works, especially regarding electrical works on the OAP •Electrical and mechanical instructions of all personnel, which will have to conduct any works in relation to abovementioned OAP systems •Ensuring operational readiness of the lifeboat and fast rescue boat at all times •Ensuring safe crane operations at all times •Management of the control room (in normal operational modes and in emergency cases) •Responsible for the spare parts management and the tool store on board the OAP •Logistics on the OAP, including material flow on exterior decks and internally, storage of materials •Cleanliness of technical spaces and exterior decks, ensuring operational readiness of all exterior deck areas at all times •Technical reporting and documentation Your profile as Platform Technician •Minimum 5 years technical / operational experience with ship operation technologies •Wide technical background with ability to handle electrical / automation, as well as mechanical tasks •Ability to recognize and correctly assess potentially dangerous situations •Ability of correctly assessing and executing tasks •Ability to take responsible decision and give clear instructions in stressful situations, especially in emergency cases •Good knowledge of German and English language, both written and verbal •SAP skills At Vattenfall Wind you will work in a dynamic, professional, international environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
