For our Product Management department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an experienced PLM Mechanical Engineer. The department is part of our Product Lifecycle Management organization in Brande which has product ownership of turbine platforms, is owner of operational product release plans and works closely together with Internal Design in R&D, Procurement and Manufacturing. Furthermore, Product Management is the interface for Regional Engineering, providing support and coordination in connection with the development of new solutions for customer projects. What are my responsibilities? Advisory engineer role – provide technical sparring on project solutions for small geared turbine platforms within the mechanical or electrical area. Participate in future planning of turbine upgrades and improvements. Provide internal and external technical sales support for wind turbine projects. Support the gathering of technical product documentation in relation to sales projects. Support the preparation of product development gate and milestone reviews for new product solutions. Support the definition and execution of measures to reach product cost and availability targets. Technical product ownership within certain turbine areas, including alignment of options. Support fleet performance and availability targets. What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant education. You have minimum 3 years of experience within product development and engineering processes. You understand the product value chain from a technical point of view. Preferably you have experience from R&D, technical sales, service, project management or similar within the wind turbine business. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
