Applications are invited for a two-year Postdoc position at the Department of Physics at DTU. The applicant will work on novel approaches for coherent x-ray diffraction and their use within materials physics. DTU is collaborating with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility on developing a hard x-ray microscope (HXRM), for multi-scale 3D studies of hard crystalline materials. The multidisciplinary team comprises about 10 people. The applicant will also be part of the imaging center at DTU. Other activities include programs on 3D reconstruction, strategic research within sustainable energy and ferro-electrics, an imaging beamline at MAX-IV, an industry portal, and innovation programs, e.g. related to security scanners. Responsibilities and tasks? The applicant will be responsible for developing instrumentation and in particular algorithms for hard x-ray coherent x-ray diffraction. The work will include being in charge of first demonstration experiments. Qualifications Candidates must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent), preferably in a physics - or materials science- related discipline.
