A 2-year postdoc position is vacant at the Nano-Bio Science research group, Division of Food Technology at the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark. The Group conducts research, education, innovation, industry and public sector consultancy within the field of nano-bio science and technology, functionality of biomacromolecules and bioactives, physical and colloid chemistry, trace elements and nanotoxicology. Responsibilities and tasks The postdoc researcher will participate in different ongoing projects and will be responsible for initiation of new collaborative research projects and research with some teaching. It may also involve handling other assignments to a limited extent. Qualifications Candidates should have a PhD degree or equivalent. The candidate should have a solid background in one or more of the following areas: development of functional (Bio) nano-micro-structures, electrospinning nanotechnologies, nanoencapsulation technologies, biosensing, biopolymer physical & colloid chemistry, nanostructure-mediated drug delivery, design and evaluation of in vitro and in vivo experiments.
