Join Energinet.dk and help us develop the future Danish transmission network. Energinet.dk is part of the transition to a green energy system and is looking into large investments in the coming years. If you are an expert in transient and harmonic studies, then this is the perfect position for you. Your new workplace will be at our modern head office in Fredericia. System studies and detailed technical studies You will become part of our skilled simulation team that is responsible for insulation coordination, harmonic studies, power quality and proximity effect calculations. The team delivers its studies to Energinet.dk’s project organization at different stages of the projects, but the team also handles ad hoc studies for Operation and Maintenance. You will take part in Energinet.dk’s projects from the early concept stages, through the detailed designs, to implementation and follow up once the equipment has been build. Being responsible for the necessary studies, your inputs contribute to ensuring the right solutions. The simulation team has weekly technical meetings discussing progress in the projects, planning resources and sparring on technical issues. You can look forward to a technically challenging job in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to focus on detailed technical studies on large HV- and EHV-projects and system studies on the Danish transmission network. Furthermore you will be involved in international standardization work and international cooperation with our neighbour TSO’s regarding joint projects. Electrical Power engineer with expert knowledge of transient and harmonic studies You hold a master degree in Electrical Engineering and have minimum 3 years of experience from a similar job involving system studies, load flow, short circuit, transient studies and harmonic studies. In addition, it will be an advantage, if you are familiar with PowerFactory and PSCAD. You are fluent in written and spoken English – and if you do not speak and write Danish, you must be willing to learn. The position requires a good understanding as to how a transmission system is operated and maintained. Furthermore, expert level knowledge of relevant power system component simulation models and their limitation is required.
