Would you like to further develop the product quality of LEGO Bricks by helping to develop global standardised printing solutions and implementing them across global production sites? This is an opportunity to work with R&D processes in one of the world's most favourite brands. Develop and implement global printing solutions on local sites You will work closely with designers and engineering specialists to prepare graphic designs for production and to determine the related printing processes and materials. In particular, you will: Document graphic design prints and elements for pad-printing in regards to design guides and ensure high quality test prints Conduct quality assurance and work with designers to approve the graphics Develop a structured printing process to ensure standardisation and hand-over to local manufacturing sites Contribute specialist printing knowledge in the R&D process for new LEGO Bricks Challenge and develop the decoration capabilities in a broader sense in the department In R&D Processing Novelty, we are responsible for decorating new LEGO Elements, e.g. printing a face or a police uniform on a LEGO® Policeman. We support global projects related to product development and production such as development of new products and site involvement/introduction, capacity expansion, rationalisation, replacement and further development of new equipment. You will be based in Billund and can expect up to 20 travel days per year to our global sites to troubleshoot and implement new solutions. Skilled technician or engineer You will be contributing to the journey towards becoming a world-class decoration department. To be a successful contributor, we imagine that you: Ideally have a technical background, giving you an understanding of quality assurance and manufacturing processes and perhaps pad-printing or tampo-printing You have experience working with Illustrator Have an insight into printing - maybe from working with toys, magazines, newspaper, packaging or similar - or you could be a paint expert with qualifications to learn and develop printing techniques Must have strong collaboration and communication skills, the ability to engage and influence others through strong specialist capabilities and contribute actively Understand the need to listen constructively to and respect the needs of customers, while also having the courage and clout to challenge their opinions Speak and write English fluently, as you will be training and troubleshooting at our global sites Join the global family of LEGO® In the LEGO® Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
