Project Applications Specialist Job ID: 185887 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For our Sales and Project Applications team within the Sales and Projects department in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a Process Application Specialist who will facilitate the provision of an optimized and integrated IT application landscape. As a Process Applications Specialist, you will be part of a team with the goal to facilitate the provision of a global project application landscape that supports Siemens process within Wind Power. What are my responsibilities? · Supporting the business in defining the functionality, interface and process requirements for IT applications to be used in projects. · Leading the business’ participation in IT projects. · Ensuring quality in all IT projects, large and small. · Working with IT to ensure all project applications meet both local and global requirements · Validating that any changes or additions to the application landscape continue to support agreed processes. · Securing that appropriate training courses and user documentation are created and maintained. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are highly experienced in the use of IT applications within a project execution, supply chain management or logistics environment, for example, SAP (SD; PS or MRS modules), Primavera or Sharepoint. · A proven track record in defining business and functional requirements for such tools. · A general flair for IT as well as a structured and analytical approach to complex tasks. · You thrive in an international environment and are a dedicated team player. · You are service-minded and self-driven. · You possess outstanding negotiation and communication skills. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
