You will join our Risk and Safety department

As our new Process Safety Engineer you will be part of our Risk and Safety engineering team, working on different projects for our clients. Our teams typically comprise of 5 – 10 members working on projects with a duration from a few weeks to several months. We believe in learning, so you will be having hands-on work experience on specific projects from day one. Therefore, you will from the onset of your career have responsibility for project deliverables.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Workshops with identification of risks in complex energy-producing plants
Assessment and calculation of risk
Calculation and specification of automatic safety circuits for reducing the risk level, including SIL calculations with ExSILentia
Technical design of electrical failsafe systems, mechanical solutions and plant concepts
Process Safety analysis
Performing risk assessments and risk workshops such as HAZOP’s and HAZID’s
Design of technical safety systems
CE marking
Functional Safety design and management

B.sc or M.Sc. degree in mechanical- or electrical engineering
Experience with leading and facilitation of HAZOP workshops according to IEC61882
Good understanding of the requirements and methodologies within Functional Safety
Experience with facilitation of Layer of Protection Analysis
Knowledge about the legislation within; machinery, pressure equipment and ATEX/DSEAR
Knowledge about the fundamentals in legislation, directives and standards related to process safety and CE marking
Excellent English skills and knowledge of Danish or other Scandinavian language is preferable
Must be ready to travel for shorter periods on a short notice
