We are looking for a Procurement and Global Planning Manager to join our global team. The Procurement and Global Planning department is responsible for the master planning of our liferaft production. This includes coordination between our production plants and sales departments to ensure the proper capacity, delivery times and global stock levels. Two Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) are at the core of VIKING’s global distribution structure. One is located at headquarters in Esbjerg and the other in Thailand. You will have a key position in the management of the RDC in Esbjerg, including product availability, on-time delivery and contact to customers, partners and other stakeholders. You will also have a key role in the continuous improvement of our global logistics set-up. You are an experienced manager, who knows how to keep your team motivated, striving for excellence, and seeking new opportunities to improve the global business. Primary management responsibilities Coaching and leading your team Global planning liferaft production Purchasing for RDC and production DK Daily coordination with our warehouse, shipping department and production Continuous improvement and participation in technical and logistics projects Qualifications A master’s degree is required, preferably in supply chain management, combined with several years of experience in planning, purchasing and logistics from a similar position. As English is our corporate language, we expect your verbal and written skills to be fluent. The Procurement and Global Planning Manager is based in the Global Logistics department at our Danish headquarters in Esbjerg. You will refer to the Global Logistics Director.
