We are looking for 4-5 new Procurement Consultants with top-tier credentials to join a new Procurement Consultant Programme in Corporate Procurement. The programme includes four rotations with focus on driving selected business improvement projects in close collaboration with R&D, Production, Facility Management and Marketing. We are 120 employees in Corporate Procurement and together with the global organisation, we manage the total external spend of DKK 25 billion. We do this by building strategies and executing improvement projects to optimise the global spend related to, e.g. R&D activities, marketing services, travel, professional advisory services and IT. To do so, we collaborate with senior stakeholders and their teams across the organisation (SVP level). We work fact-based, are dedicated to collaborative problem solving and take active leadership for the initiatives we are involved in. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through coaching and frequent feedback and by giving significant responsibility to individuals. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO of Novo Nordisk. The job As a Procurement Consultant you will drive selected sourcing and business development projects. In addition, you will work with developing our category strategies through sound and fact-based analyses. You will work closely with our key stakeholders on identifying business improvement projects and sourcing opportunities in our global organisation and drive negotiation and relationship management with our suppliers. The programme is a great opportunity for rapid professional development and to getting an understanding of the value chain in Novo Nordisk, while delivering tangible results and value to the business. The Procurement Consultant Programme includes four rotations of 6 months each in four different departments in Corporate Procurement at our global headquarters in Denmark. The work will be based out of Denmark but involve close collaboration with the colleagues across the globe. In the programme you will be assigned a mentor and through coaching and training you will obtain a strong consultant toolbox. Qualifications We expect you to recently have completed – or are close to completing - a Master's Degree (in e.g. business administration, law, engineering or natural science combined with economics or business administration) with a top 15% GPA. You take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for yourself and your colleagues. You communicate and sell your ideas effectively and you have the ability to work with various stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers. You have a high degree of curiosity and interest in understanding the value chain in large organisations. Finally, you are IT savvy, have excellent presentation skills and work fluently in English.
