Procurement Director to lead truly global activities

This job is a splendid opportunity to enter a key role in which you can impact the future of a world-famous toy brand and pursue a career path within the LEGO® Group. You will be based in Billund, Denmark. Set direction for the category and deploy the LEGO values to our global suppliers As Procurement Director you will develop and set direction for a procurement department within marketing materials and in store services. The team is located in Denmark, Germany the USA, the UK, and the Czech Republic. More specifically, you will: Define and execute the global category strategy for marketing and in store material Secure strong and global stakeholder management Provide regular updates of global market intelligence insights Build and maintain global supplier base - incl. contracting, negotiations, relationship building, risk management and supplier performance Secure global KPI performance and follow up Make sure that the environmental policy and health and safety policy is embedded and executed in the daily processes Act as dedicated people manager who can create transparency of roles and responsibilities In total you will bring the LEGO values and code of conduct to the very heart of our subcontractors and suppliers - and make sure the supplier base lives up to our standards for ethics and quality. People Manager with procurement, marketing and retail experience You have at least 5 years' procurement experience from an international company enabling you to define, develop and implement the right strategy and deliver on the agreed objectives. And you have: A Master's degree in Supply Chain or a comparable discipline Experience as a leader and solid knowledge of change management The ability to motivate employees and secure their performance and satisfaction - at a distance Experience with retail and or marketing Ability to create transparency on a global stage Drive and commitment, personal impact and good communication skills Ability to establish strong relations to stakeholders across a global organisation Excellent command of English, written as well as spoken.
