Would you like to use your experience within portfolio management and follow the development process - from pencil sketches to final product - to add even more fun to children's play experience with the LEGO Brand? Be part of the LEGO® World of fun and play You will be part of the Merchandise & Promotion team of 7 that develop compelling and engaging merchandise products to enrich the LEGO Brand experience. You support the core theme lines from the LEGO Group - e.g. Ninjago®, Friends®, etc., as well as products that support the overall LEGO Brand. You do so by delivering products that support the themes in a relevant way providing our consumers with cool and innovative ways to engage with their favourite themes e.g. foam swords, lunchboxes, key rings, etc. Your product portfolio is only sold through LEGO Branded sales channels i.e. the LEGOLAND Parks and our own LEGO Brand Retail Stores. End-to-end responsibility for your portfolio Together with the Senior Product Manager, you own the merchandise portfolio which consists of approximately 260 novelty and carry over products. You manage and develop a merchandise portfolio that effectively drives traffic, consumer sales and consumer engagement as well as drive marketing integration by balancing customer needs and LEGO Marketing priorities. You analyse consumer sales and set direction for your portfolio to optimise future sales, just as you are responsible for the process of developing and selling in merchandising. Taking ownership of execution on the shelf is also your responsibility, and you work in a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders. In order to succeed, you have to look holistically at your portfolio, its strategy and your stakeholders. The real challenge lies in balancing customer needs with marketing priorities with the core business. The nature of your work takes you travelling approximately 30 days per year, but you will be able to tailor your schedule to meet your personal commitment. Ability to understand and set portfolio direction and be a nexus point You probably hold a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration or a Bachelor of Commerce (the Danish HD) This is paired with 5-8 years of portfolio planning, product management, key account management and brand management Your track record has given you experience in talking directly with customers as well as looking at the entirety of your portfolio. A talent for marketing and portfolio planning is an absolute plus You easily collaborate across work functions and borders, and you have an open mind that you use to adapt to changes and think strategically. Moreover, you support and encourage innovation which you combine with your profound understanding of the different frames set for the merchandising in the LEGO Group.
