PPS Product Management Decanters in Soborg is a central product management team assisting Sales Companies, customers and logistics with technical information related to decanters and drum thickeners. Service is one of Alfa Laval's Vital two focus areas and a major growth driver for the company. We are looking for a person who would like to make a difference in a segment geared up for growth and who would like to join us in our journey into an exciting and challenging future. We need to strengthen our product management team as part of our succession planning and to support continuous growth. Are you customer focused? Are you service minded? The job – You will be working with: Helpdesk - technical sales support to Sales Companies Support engineered orders such as upgrading and rotating assemblies from quotation to delivery Development of new products, service products and product care Product launches incl. spare parts planning Technical information e.g. Service Bulletins and Repair Instructions Developing training material and conduct product training for Sales Companies and customers Interface with Logistics re. stocking and availability needs You will have frequent contact with our Sales Companies regarding technical support. You will also work in close cooperation with our colleagues in the Service organization as well as Product Centre Decanters and Operations to bring service products to our customers. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering with knowledge of electrical systems and with more than 10 years of experience within decanter centrifuges. It is an advantage if you have process, manufacturing or maintenance experience from previous assignments. Another advantage is if you have international experience. You are able to work independently upon give targets. You enjoy different tasks in a rapidly changing environment and are service minded. You find it easy to network in a global organization and have a good level of business understanding. You have an analytical mind and are an excellent communicator and fluent in English. Practicalities You will be based in PPS Soborg reporting to the Manager Product Management Decanters, Service. The position involves some travelling.
