Then join the Product Data Management department. We are a global team with 32 colleagues in Denmark, 11 in China, 1 in Finland and 3 in Hungary. Our department aligns the overall direction in the development and maintenance of product master data processes and systems and are responsible for product configuration and product master data handling. You refer to Department Head Lise Berg Henriksen. ” Our department is also known as ‘PDM’, and it is a focus area for us to increase the efficiency in handling product master data, while at the same time ensuring that the users experience high product master data quality. We are a busy department so we spar a lot, help each other and use our different competences to achieve the best results,” Lise explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? Product Data Lifecycle Management is the main focus of your job and requires a wide insight into business demands to master data, from the development of a product to purchase/production, sales, distribution and phasing out and service. Thus, you are responsible for efficiently creating and maintaining Global Product Master Data. You ensure process improvement within your own area and follow up on data quality according to the product area list. Moreover, you are responsible for the Group master data structure, and you continuously contribute to projects and processes. “On a daily basis, you will experience global collaboration and gain a network spanning the world. Your challenge, however, is to be able to balance going into details of the product master data while maintaining an overview and a coordinating role. It is so important because our work influences the entire Grundfos organisation,” Lise says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a technical background, maybe as a Technical Assistant, Mechanical Engineer or Machine Technician and 3+ years of experience with efficient product master data handling or improvement projects within the product master data area. Project management and process knowledge is a plus. You speak and write English fluently and Danish is an advantage. “On a personal level, you are service-minded and have a holistic approach to your work. You don’t mind some routine tasks along the way, and you take a proactive and coordinating role where you are good at including your colleagues in the process. As we are a global team, respect for different cultures is a must,” Lise finishes.
