You will build a bridge between Product Management and the development team
As a Product Owner, you will select and initiate work in the team developing the electronic patient health record Columna Clinical Information System (CIS). You will be the link between Product Management and the development team to ensure that the solution creates value for our customers. You will own the team’s backlog and use your knowledge of CIS to prioritise tasks and ensure that the necessary requirements are implemented. Your responsibility will be to approve the team’s work based on the formulated acceptance criteria. In your work with CIS, you will help to develop one of the most advanced healthcare platforms on the market in order to ensure that healthcare professionals have access to a complete overview of their patients’ medical records. You will perform your tasks in close cooperation with the development team, which is an agile scrum team of 6-9 people, both developers and testers. You will also work together with the other Product Owners from other scrum teams.

Your duties will include:

• Prioritising and updating tasks in the team’s backlog
• Clarifying and fleshing out visions in cooperation with Product Management
• Formulating acceptance criteria and communicating them to the development team
• Presenting the team’s solution to customers and other stakeholders
• Maintaining the product’s aggregate backlog and optimising workflows, along with the other Product Owners

Flair for healthcare, IT and relationships
We expect that you will have a healthcare or technical background, for example, as an engineer, tester, or healthcare technologist. It is essential for us that you have solid knowledge of healthcare matters or software development, with experience of communicating to healthcare professionals or technology experts.

• Understand about working with agile tools such as Scrum and Kanban
• Can maintain an overview in order to prioritise and identify the scrum team’s most important tasks
• Take pride in delivering solutions at the agreed time and scope, in cooperation with the development team
• Work analytically and are able to translate visions into concrete demands
• Are a team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues in an agile scrum team

In addition, you can speak and write English fluently.

Knowledge of Java would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
