Do you have the commercial and managerial skills and technical insight to take on the challenge as a leader of a high performing team? At Danfoss’ Business Unit Controls (part of District EnergyDivision) we are able to offer a comprehensive range of district heating and HVAC automatic controls for applications within district heating distributor stations, commercial and multi-family house substations as well as one-family house substations. As such you will head the Electronics product portfolio organisation and assist in setting the strategic direction for the organisation. You will play a key role in realising our ambitious growth strategy for our electronic controllers (ECL), Energymeters and corresponding SCADA systems. Develop a strong product portfolio organisation Your mission is to develop and lead the product portfolio team and as such you secure an excellent and consistent performance on strategic, tactical and operational level. You spearhead the development and implementation of a clear and well-documented business plan delivering on the agreed targets from the perspective of innovation rate, sales, GGP and EBIT. Moreover, you ensure a continued improvement process and performance culture in the organisation defining a clear interface on roles and responsibilities with R&D, Sales, Operation and Quality. In this way, you ensure that we meet the ambitious objectives and targets. Other key responsibilities for you and your team are to: •develop and execute operational plans – establish baselines for sales, profit, costs and other key metrics •develop an innovative product portfolio – develop and execute product area strategies and roadmaps •optimise product profitability through product management •serve as product and application expert and ensure the availability of master data, technical documentation and trainings. Substantial commercial and project management experience, leadership and persistence You hold a master’s degree in engineering or similar backed by experience of managing teams. At the same time, you have strong commercial knowledge and a drive to develop the business. Furthermore, it is important that you have anchored a good deal of your experience within electronics e.g. SCADA systems, network technology, embedded controllers, or PLC’s. Your career has both provided you with a proven commercial track record and strengthened your technological insight as well as your ability to develop and execute strategies. You can inspire people around you and clearly communicate visions and direction. You know how to navigate in cross-cultural organisations, and your natural authority enables you to handle heavy pressure and requirements from multiple key stakeholders.
