Wind Service Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a headquarter function of Siemens Wind Power Service with responsibility for development of innovative service products and concepts. For our product risk team we are looking for an analytical and data-safety product risk manager. The product risk team is a small, highly specialized group with responsibilities to analyze all aspects of service product risks which includes reliability engineering, advanced simulation analysis, data analytics and visualization. What are my responsibilities? · Develop and improve the technical risk review process (ARM model) · Maintain and develop statistical model-based risk tools · Provide business value insights from data analytics and visualization · Interface with design and service engineers to establish wind turbine component risk profiles What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree within engineering or an equivalent field · You are very strong analytically, have a solid understanding of statistics and reliability modeling, e.g., Weibull reliability techniques · You thrive in an environment working with large data sets and diving right in · You have advanced knowledge of excel and preferably have experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Matlab or R · You possess excellent English skills · Experience with SQL is an advantage In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
