Would you like to work in an exciting job in a broad area of responsibility as you give technical and quality input in all phases of product projects? This is your opportunity to develop your network in Grundfos as you work both internally and externally to influence our projects and create a successful introduction for our products. Then join the Project Q Support & Supplier Q Assurance department and a small EMS team of 5 colleagues. We are a global team spread out on different locations, and our responsibility is to introduce the Grundfos products to our sub-suppliers, with both a technical and quality focus. We also carry out on-going support to the factories if there are any issues with the products. You refer to Department Head, Michael Lassen. ”We are a small team so we help each other a lot collaborate across areas of expertise and responsibility. You become part of a group of very experienced colleagues who know Grundfos to the core, and we are all ready to help you settle into the team,” explains Michael. What is the job about? As our new PTQ Engineer, you are responsible for collaborating with our sub-suppliers within electronics. Here, you act as NPI, PT and Quality to help secure the production flow at their sites. Quality-wise, you review documentation to ensure the quality of the different products. On the production technical part of your job, you work on the production flow and how it is best utilised at the sub-supplier. This also entails looking at the design of the products to see if it needs to be optimised before production, using DFA and DFM methods. Moreover, you create investment reports and specifications for machines and work on Design to Value in order to optimise cost at our suppliers. “Your challenge will be to know Grundfos in depth as an organisation. But also, your job is multi-faceted as you will have many internal stakeholders who give you input. Your job essentially is to boil down all of their ideas into concrete tools we can use externally. It will provide you with a large network and take you travelling all over the globe to visit both internal and external stakeholders,” says Michael. What do you need to apply? You are an Electronics Engineer with experience from electronic production and with PPAP. Preferably, you have international experience and you speak and write English fluently. Danish is an advantage but not a prerequisite. “On a personal level, you are able to work independently and take responsibility, but at the same time, you are a great communicator who can collaborate with many different stakeholders and cultures – also when you are challenged on issues outside of your normal field,” finishes Michael.
