We are currently seeking a production manager to assist us in maintaining our leading position in the market, with the specific responsibilities of ensuring that our production processes are running optimally at all stages – from procurement and production through to global customer delivery. Production development and optimisation A high-tech company with a solid portfolio, Danfysik is staffed by 100 highly specialised employees who develop, produce and service equipment in the field of accelerator technology. Our products and services are sold worldwide, primarily to research institutes, universities and industry. Besides having many advanced projects, we also enjoy excellent relations with our many customers. As production manager, your primary responsibilities will be to •Ensure high levels of quality and production efficiency •Optimise logistics and supply chains •Lead and develop the employees in the production team As well as having the opportunity to shape one of the world’s leading companies within the particle accelerator sector, you – in collaboration with our suppliers – will ensure that our advanced technical engineering solutions become realised in practice. You will head the entire production process, including procurement, stock management, logistics, production, testing, and production technology. Management skills and an ability to maintain a full perspective We welcome applications from all individuals who possess an engineering background and who have several years’ experience working at a company that produces orders on a project-by-project basis. Such experience may include working as a production manager in an internationally oriented company, or holding a position where you are responsible for design or production within a specific technological area. We expect you to be able to document your own achievements in relation to production optimisation, negotiation skills in conjunction with procurement, and management. The position requires that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and are capable of managing several activities at the same time – both in relation to customers and suppliers as well as internally within the company. You must be able to maintain a full perspective and to motivate your employees, not least through your own personal interest in and understanding of new technology and professional challenges. On a personal level, the position calls for a dynamic and dependable individual who is not only capable of creating an impact but also capable of gaining respect as a manager.
