Job ID: 153821 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time For our Production Technology department, part of Operations Towers in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to support external tower manufacturers as well as internal operational teams and our Engineering department. The Production Technology department is responsible for ensuring and distributing documentation for suppliers and sub-suppliers in close cooperation with the Engineering department. The department consists of NCR creators, documentation distributers, reviewers and document creators who should all be able to cover each other’s areas of responsibility. What are my responsibilities? · Creating work instructions for assembly of tower internals. · Creating packing instructions for kit-set suppliers. · Updating existing work instructions. · Sending out production basis to tower and kit-set suppliers. · Ensuring EHS review and Engineering Change Management approval of work instructions. · Reviewing bills of materials, drawings and documents. · Handling technical findings in NCR’s (non-conformity reports). · Participating in cross-functional prototype projects. · Participating in the department’s further development. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical background (mechanical or electrical). Ideally you have work experience from the wind industry, combined with a practical understanding and technical insight. · Experience in writing and managing technical documentation would be an advantage. · You are fluent in English both orally and in writing, as English is our corporate language and work instructions are written in English. · As a person you are outgoing and proactive, and you have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your assignments. · You understand the importance of ensuring safe methods, precision and quality in work instructions. · It would be an advantage if you have experience with Frame maker, SAP and Team Centre. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
