You will join the Danfoss Power Electronics Division PE-OXP in Gråsten and become part of a team of ten colleagues who support projects in Denmark, China and USA. Danfoss Power Electronics is world leader in developing, manufacturing and sale of motor controllers - VLT ® frequency converters – for applications such as pumps, conveyors and cranes. You will join us at a prosperous time with development of new products to new customer segments and you will report to the SC Product Project Manager. High quality, productivity and improvements Your focus will be PCBA mounting, and your overall objective will be to ensure the matureness of the PCBA for production (designed for assembly). Furthermore, you will ensure that projects are implemented according to agreed time and quality. You will also be responsible for creating production documentation as well as support for prototype and pilot builds and following up on quality. Among others, your tasks will include to: •participate in the review of printed circuit board design to ensure the quality of the product and the production of PCBA. •take care of production engineering tasks in PCBA mounting and follow up on production until it has been handed over to production •ensure coordination between production and development departments •Introduce and optimise new assembly production runs •secure TS 16949 compliance by making quality documents e.g. (PFEMA, Control Plan, MSA, CPK and SOP) •participate in and manage change control projects •participate in the establishment and layout projects, in the context solve specific optimisation tasks within manufacturing/assembly Engineer with experience in manufacturing and a strong team player You have a background in engineering or another relevant technical education with some years of practical experience from working with optimisation and sustained improvements (LEAN). Technically, you preferably have experience within Six Sigma (Green Belt) and TS 16949. On a more personal note, you have the energy and drive for performance, and you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome from idea to implementation. You have a structured approach to your work and take responsibility. Keeping a sense of perspective, and an adequate ability to sit tight and keep calm in a hectic workday with many deadlines, is one of your strong suits, and due to your strong drive you know exactly how to focus your efforts and make the necessary decisions. You have a global mindset and finally yet importantly, you master English fluently both in writing and speech, as well as Danish at least on a basic level.
