You will join Danfoss Drives in Gråsten and become part of a team of 14 global colleagues who support projects in Denmark, China and USA. Danfoss Drives is a world leader in developing, manufacturing and selling motor controllers – VLT® frequency converters – for applications such as pumps, conveyors and cranes. You will join us at a great time with development of new products for new customer segments, and you will report to the Director, Global Board Assembly Technology. High quality, productivity and improvements Your focus will be Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), and your overall objective will be to ensure the matureness of the PCBA for production (designed for manufacturing). Furthermore, you will – together with a project team – ensure that projects are implemented according to agreed time and quality. Your tasks will include: •Be a part of product development project teams bringing products from idea to running production •Participate in review of PCBA design to ensure the quality of the product and the manufacturing of the PCBA •Ensure coordination between supply chain and development departments (R&D) •Introduce and optimise new products in the PCBA manufacturing area •Participate in outsourcing activities, incl. some travel activity (10-25 days per year) •Manage production engineering tasks and follow up on production •Ensure that standards and quality systems as TS-16949 are followed •Participate in the establishment and layout of projects, and in that context solve specific optimisation tasks within PCBA manufacturing/assembly Engineer with experience in manufacturing and a strong team player You have a background in engineering or another relevant technical education and have at least some years of experience working with electronic manufacturing. Preferably, you are Six Sigma certified. If not, you will have the opportunity to become green or black belt certified. You master English fluently, as well as Danish on a basic level as a minimum. On a more personal note, you have the energy and drive for performance, and you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome from idea to implementation. You have a structured approach to your work and take responsibility. As the majority of your job activities take place in cross-functional groups, it is also important that you are a skilled team player who thrives on cooperating and networking.
