Trademark Textiles is a private label company, which is experiencing rapid growth and expansion. This has led to the opening as Production Merchandiser for our UK team. We are looking for a structured and flexible person who can ensure the processing and management of the orders from our UK customers runs smoothly and efficiently from being placed with our sales team to delivery at our customers. Together with our UK Sales/Account Manager, you will be responsible for making sure all the details of the ordered fashion accessories/clothes meet our customers’ expectations. You will therefore be in daily contact with our Asian factories and will also speak with the UK customers themselves. The position includes the following tasks: ? - Place samples and orders immediately after received ? - Use of customers online ordering systems ? -Daily follow up on Critical Path management on all running orders and samples directly with our Chinese factories to ensure timely deliveries. ? - Liaise with factories in terms of costing and developing new ranges ? - Development and approval of samples ? - Processing of orders in ERP system / Navision ? - Billing and approval of invoices in Navision ? - Freight/Shipment booking ? - Factory visits (Far East) & Customer meetings in the UK with sales and product team ? - 40-60 travel days per year About you: ? - You can create and maintain an overview over the entire production process for many orders running at the same time ? - You are analytical, precise and have good numerical skills ? - You have a high level of service and understand that the customer is essential for our business ? - You will need a basic knowledge of textile production, further training on this will be given in the role ? - You have good interpersonal skills Ideally the candidate would be a UK expert currently living in Denmark or a UK expert who wants to move to Denmark. In either case having a good understanding of the Danish language would be advantageous, but not a requirement. You must have very high levels of both oral and written English, and be familiar with the English business culture.
