If so, then you might be our new quality supporter! About the department You will join the Caps Production in Bagsværd. We are small department of 36 colleagues divided into a production and a support team. Together we focus our efforts on ensuring the punching, welding and assembly of aluminium capsules for Novo Nordisk’s capped vials and other products. The department is being outsourced and therefore, the position is temporary until the end of 2016. The job You will join the support team and your main tasks will vary a lot due to the outsourcing strategy but during the whole process your role will be around ensuring quality in our daily work. You will drive non conformity investigations right from identification, through root cause analysis to documentation and implementation of solutions. You will also play a vital role in continuous improvement of our processes and our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) ensuring that they stay in line with requirements and are made easily understandable. You play a part in our production planning, both as a substitute for our regular planner, and with a responsibility to continuously improve our planning processes and finally you drive project regarding the shutdown. Overall, your job is to combine processes and production equipment ensuring that we operate and utilise our equipment optimally. You will be responsible for securing the operation of present equipment as well as making specifications for new equipment. You will drive the projects and secure that the deliveries are on time and match the specifications as to quality and cost. Upon handing over the equipment to your colleagues in the department, you make sure to provide them with proper instructions first. You will also perform problem solving on present equipment and contribute to the construction of automatically operated process equipment. You will spearhead minor task forces on the optimisation of processes and equipment. All in all, you can foresee a contact base that spans Novo Nordisk QA functions, filling sites and external vendors. Qualifications You properly have a Master degree within pharmaceutical, mechanical engineering or similar field, preferably combined with 2 years’ experience from a similar Process Support role in a GMP-regulated environment. You might have gained insight into automatically operated production equipment. It is nice if you have experience with process optimisations, specifications for and adjustments to production equipment as well as validation documentation. Knowledge about LEAN is an advantage but most important is that you have a strong sense of quality. You have a focus on creating good results and take on a proactive approach to ensure the achievement of these. In this relation, you are able to maintain the overview of many concurrent tasks, and your ability to keep a cool head in busy times rubs off on your surroundings. You have strong motivational skills and use your energy to foster a good work environment.
