About the department
In Biopharm, we produce, maintain and improve all of Novo Nordisk’s non-insulin products. Biopharm QC handles chemical, microbiological and biological testing for Biopharm’s product portfolio. Biopharm QC consists of around 300 employees in three different geographical sites (Gentofte, Kalundborg and Hillerød).

 

The Innovation team is placed in Gentofte and is a newly established team. The team will play an important part in setting direction for the technological development in Biopharm QC.

The position
Your main objective is to implement new technologies across Biopharm QC – ranging from software automation to in-line QC solutions, but with a clear focus on the latter. You will be expected to find and evaluate the different process analytical technologies (PAT) on the market and guide the direction for which these technologies are implemented. In this position, you will gain thorough knowledge on new in-line technologies, as well as drive projects that put different types of equipment into service.

 

You are able to communicate clearly, open and honest securing the interests of both Biopharm QC Chemistry and our stakeholders. You will be expected to interact with our stakeholders, eg. production sites, across Novo Nordisk and drive the implementation of solutions for the benefit of the company.

In the job, you will work with all parts of the Biopharm QC, with analysis ranging from chemical to microbiological testing. You will also work broadly across Biopharm Production sites, providing you with the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the supply chain within Biopharm and establish a wide network within the organisation.

 

The job is a 24 month temporary position.
         
Qualifications 
You have an academic degree (Cand. Pharm, chemical engineer, biochemist, or other equivalent level of education) preferably supplemented with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as project manager. If you do not have project management experience, make it clear in your application or CV which skills you will utilize in order to succeed in the position. You are familiar with GMP and the requirements of the authorities in the pharmaceutical industry and you are familiar with the basic LEAN methodologies. 
 
As a person, you have an analytical mind-set and you are able to get to the core of a problem, while maintaining overview of the big picture. You are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks independently. Your engagement and positive attitude comes naturally and you are able to create overview and execute on many different tasks at the time while prioritizing your efforts optimally. You work in a structured and systematic way and are used to deliver according to targets while motivating and inspiring your colleagues.
