Job Description

Danfoss Cooling is looking for an experienced Project Buyer, based in Nordborg (preferred) or Kolding. In this role you will secure procurement deliverables on time according to a project milestone plan, including identifying, visualizing and mitigating potential risks for the projects. The main responsibility is to be the coordinating person between suppliers and the project team from M1 and up to M5 milestones. As NPD Project Buyer, responsible for supporting new product development projects, you are the core team member from procurement in projects. You need to secure strong interaction with regional category managers, quality experts and Danfoss Procurement throughout a complete project and build strong relationships and cooperation with regional R&D functions. Working effectively with dedicated, highly skilled and passionate colleagues across multiple functions and locations is therefore key to success in this role.
 
As a person, you have a high drive, enjoy being proactive and persistent, naturally reaching out to relevant stakeholders to ensure progress and drive performance. Analytical skills and a systematic approach will be a distinct advantage. Furthermore, you are a good team player who can interact and communicate well with people at all levels.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, as well as:

• Strong project management skills and experience in leading and participating in project teams in an internal complex environment
• Strong technical knowledge
• Experienced in negotiations - light negotiation skills
• Experience in having the “Customer in focus”
• Basic ability to understand product drawings and specifications
• Ability to follow agreed business processes and procedures
• Fluent in English at negotiation level
