Would you like to be part of a team of highly skilled engineers and economists, planning, developing and executing budget processes for wind farm projects, and do you want to gain a wide cross-disciplinary network? Join us and become Project Controller in Project Execution Controlling. We are part of Wind Power Finance and consist of 14 committed controllers focusing on the budgeting and controlling of expenses for offshore wind projects. Project Execution Controlling is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Project Controller, you coordinate the budgeting process for wind farm projects – from early project phases until Final Investment Decision. Together with your colleagues, you perform cross-disciplinary tasks and cooperate closely with the offshore wind farm projects as well as with colleagues in other departments. You also work closely with your colleagues in the department sharing knowledge, developing and optimising our budget models and ensuring use of best practice. Moreover, you collaborate closely with engineering departments, Finance, Project Development and Project Execution across the Wind Power organisation. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •make cost estimates in early phases of the project •develop and manage the overall investment budgets in cooperation with the project team •secure quality of the investment budget by benchmarking •challenge and handle quality assurance of budget documentation •carry out reporting for business cases, financial forecasts and decision making. Your profile You hold a degree in engineering or equivalent combined with experience from construction projects and capital investment budgets. Our projects bring together various employee groups, cultures and authorities, making it essential that you have excellent communication skills. You speak and write English fluently and preferably also Danish. As a person, you are systematic and analytical in the way you approach your tasks. A strong personal drive allows you to maintain an overview when things get hectic.
