Detailed Description Business aspects of controlling Your key objective is to – at all times – be on top of the financial position of the region. This requires an understanding of the business, and the projects that makes up the financials. You are expected to ensure the validity of actuals, budgets and forecasts for all projects and departments by providing an overview of P/L and balance sheet items and the financial position for each project. In other words, you become the pivot generating a complete financial view of the region and will be an important sparring partner for the regional management team. In overview, your primary tasks will be to: · Business partner for key stakeholders including Sales, Engineering, Project Management and Regional Management team · Ensure ongoing monitoring and follow up on budgets and overall monthly financial status of the region · Monthly follow up on key projects · Analyse deviations and possible explanations – and ensure early warnings, if necessary · Complete cash flow and net working capital analyses Job Requirements Global mindset You have a global mindset and are ready to travel between 10-15 days a year. The travel activity will mainly be to our Global Shared Service Center in Chennai, India where we recently moved the Project Accounting function for EMENA. It is expected of you to follow up with the Project Account in India on deliverables, quality, development of tasks and further mature him in his role. Analytical, persistent and outgoing We expect you to hold a cand.merc, cand.oecon, cand.polit or equivalent and have already proven your practical financial and analytical skills for some years. You are characterized by a self-starter attitude, deep analytical focus and a great sense of responsibility for your work. Your strong communication skills make it easy for you to initiate and maintain collegial working relationships with many stakeholders and being a valuable business partner. You like to rethink conventions and work processes. The position’s interdisciplinary nature also requires an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a busy day. Hands-on analytic controlling is one of your core competencies, and you master Excel and are able to comprehend complex ERP flows (we use Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management). Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion is not a requirement but will be an advantage.
