Strategic Projects Department in Manufacturing & Global Sourcing is responsible for managing a range of multidisciplinary projects related to new product introductions. If you are an experienced Project Manager and if you're up to an exciting challenge in an international environment - read on Project Manager, Strategic Projects Department in Manufacturing & Global Sourcing, Vestas Wind Systems A/S - Denmark Located in the Strategic Projects Department in Manufacturing & Global Sourcing in Vestas Wind Systems, Project Management is responsible for managing a range of multidisciplinary projects related to new product introductions to the factories, technology transfers, business systems implementations as well as a range of other projects Responsibilities: As a PM with Vestas you will be working across many different functions taking on projects from all corners of our business, making no two days the same. Strategic Projects sits with our PMO department and is also responsible for setting and improving the standards and processes by which the projects are run. The key responsibilities include: Budget, plan and execute Manufacturing & Global Sourcing projects and work packages Develop and implement best practice project processes Interface with value chain and customers Ensure delivery within time, quality and cost targets Support new production systems and prototype line set-up with PBUs Contribute to Project Management expertise growth Qualifications: You have the following background: An Engineering and/or business degree You have a hands on Project Management Experience (minimum 3 years) Experience with production and/global sourcing an advantage Experience of running integrated projects using matrix management of multi-disciplinary teams A Prince2 and/or IPMA level C is preferable Competencies: Your personality can be described as follows - You have: Excellent communication skills Developed leadership skills A pro-Active team Player Willing to travel Strong project tool box Stage Gate model experience English at professional level Flexible / agile personality What we offer: We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the world’s leading wind turbine producer.
