Then Project Manager at FLSmidth’s Customer Service for EMENA region, could be the perfect job for you. As Project Manager you will play a central role in handling complex projects making sure that we are able to deliver added value to cement plants worldwide. You will enter Product Sales Support – a dynamic and entrepreneurial department responsible for growing the retrofit project business. We are responsible for both EP and EPC projects for retrofits and modernization projects, product management and audits. You will as Project Manager be responsible for the P&L for projects and to secure we have satisfied customers. Detailed Description Support Sales Managers and managing projects so all parties are satisfied Your objective is to manage complex retrofit projects of cement plants in the EMENA region. Working with EPC contracts you will be the driver in developing agreements with sub-contractors for installation work. Furthermore you will be working together with our Sales Department preparing project proposals for our customers on an EP and EPC Project basis. In this you will have the responsibility of the risk management and will take part of the final sales and negotiation phases for legal and contractual aspects. During larger projects you will travel on and off to site to be in full control and being close to the customer. You will enter into cooperation with our customers and colleagues, living our visions of turning projects into successfully implemented improvements at our customer’s plants. You will be working closely together with internal and external installation companies ensuring that FLSmidth are proposing projects with the most competitive value proposition in the market. You will be based in Copenhagen and have approximately 50 travel days per year. Job Requirements Skilled Project Manager with heavy industry experience You have a relevant degree, e.g. in Mechanical Engineering, which you have supplemented with commercial training or experience. From prior employments you have acquired solid knowledge of equipment supply in a B2B setting. Preferably, your CV also mirrors experience with the cement industry. Besides a commercial mindset, you have a cross-functional ability enabling you to understand a range of areas such as engineering, sales, internal/external customers, economics, and competitors. As a consequence you are able to suggest the best possible solution and create solid results, and you possess the ability to drive and implement new projects and ideas. Furthermore: · You have strong people skills and a drive to create interdepartmental relationships, streamlining business processes and contributing to business results. · You have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an international environment with a proven successful track-record within heavy industrial markets · You are fluent in a recognised project delivery method (Prince2, PMI) · You have a good contractual understanding and experience with client relations and EPC projects, just as you have a proven understanding of risk and how to mitigate it. · You are comfortable working and communicating across cultures, functions and different levels in an organisation and speak and write English fluently.
