Equipment Management within our EMEA Operations organization in Brande, Denmark, is an internal business responsible for the rental of all equipment required for transporting, installing and servicing our wind turbines. We are involved in the entire equipment process from development and retrofit of equipment to order handling, delivering, receiving, inspecting and maintaining the equipment. In order to ensure optimum focus on the development of equipment for our new wind turbine generations as well as on development projects regarding new transport and lifting solutions for the Offshore organization we are currently looking for a self-driven and result-oriented candidate for a newly created position as Project Manager, Equipment Management. In this position you will report to Head of Equipment Development. What are my responsibilities? Project management of developing new tools and equipment for installation of Onshore and Offshore Wind Turbines Carrying out project management according to development tasks in equipment management Making and maintaining a detailed list of tasks and time schedule for projects Planning availability of resources and initiating adjustment of plans Having the financial responsibility for the projects Communicating relevant project information to all stakeholders - both internal and external - and key functions in the organisation Making a detailed specification of the output from the projects Participating in improving the project management process in Siemens Wind Power In this position you can expect 20-30 travel days per year What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineer combined with 5+ years of relevant work and project management experience Preferably, you have technical experience with installation methods and equipment As a person you are open-minded and proactive with a quality-oriented approach to your tasks Your ability to coordinate and handle many projects at one time while still being able to focus on the end result is a prerequisite in this position Furthermore, you possess strong organizational and decision making skills, and you have the drive to motivate your team and create a good and inspiring work environment You thrive in a multicultural environment and you possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
