We are looking for a strong communicator with a high drive and positive 'can-do' mindset to join the highly skilled project team within shared services. Finance/Shared Service Center The project team within Shared Service Center is responsible for managing a range of multidisciplinary programs and projects related to business transformation and enabling of shared services across Vestas' value chain. The team delivers sustainable and cost-efficient solutions while at the same time maintaining a solid business performance. The projects are managed through structured project and change management drawing on a skilled multi-cultural workforce of project managers with thorough experience and capabilities. The project team is also responsible for setting and improving the standards and processes by which the projects are facilitated. Responsibilities: The key responsibilities include: Build up and run the global MDM Office organization (in DK and SSCs). Ensure smooth transition from the as-is to the to-be MDM Governance organization, enabling operational quality and standards in all system Define clear roles and responsibilities for MDM governance and operations in MDM transformation journey Define guidelines in master data standardization, data preparation, data architecture, data quality and data integrity improvement initiatives across the different functions within Vestas Actively aligns with the ERP Consolidation project, drives the master data standardization, organizational and system alignment Define strategic priorities for management and delivery of master data throughout Vestas, together with the (delegate) MD Owners and MD Experts identify new business opportunities through the analysis of master data, and significantly improve revenue generation through more effective use of enterprise master data Actively communicate the Master Data strategy and standards across all functions Prepare reports to the cross-functional MDM Governance Board and its Executive Management members on planning, progress and quality of the MDM Governance implementation and execution. Coaches business partners in various business areas (other functions, countries and regions in Master Data standards and practices) Qualifications: To succeed in this role you must have: Relevant educational background 5 years of experience in a similar position Experience with (complex) master data and information model Project Management experience, ability to manage multinational teams Understanding of external factors influencing master data governance such as competitors, regulatory requirements, best in class practices and economic Competencies: The successful candidate: Strong communicator and change agent Good knowledge of the latest developments in Master Data Management, processes and systems including SAP and MDM/MDG systems Drive projects efficiently, by maintaining a key focus on value creation and process optimization Leverage best in class examples, key expert / key stakeholder input to design the appropriate Master Data framework Keep deadlines and produces high quality output Leverage business understanding and its requirements in the operation of Master Data systems and processes Is recognized as a credible business partner for cross-functional teams and key stakeholders Foster a constructive dialogue with functions and key stakeholders What we offer: We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the world’s leading wind turbine producer.
